Who Should Use a Baby Planner?
Preparing for a baby can be stressful for both first time moms and seasoned moms.
First time moms-to-be often feel uncertain about what they need to welcome their baby into the world, and unprepared for their birthing experience and bringing baby home. For many first time moms-to-be, the traditional tasks such as compiling a baby registry, designing a nursery and choosing a pediatrician may seem overwhelming. The Cape Cod Baby Planner can help ease the anxiety that comes along with preparing for a new baby and make certain that you are well prepared and confidently ready to warmly welcome your baby into the world and into your home.
Seasoned moms may simply not have the time or energy to prepare for their new baby as they'd like. Sorting through stored away baby gear and assessing what's safe and what's not may seem like a logistical nightmare for busy moms on the go. From providing updated information and recommendations from the leading authorities on children's health and safety, to helping develop a care plan for your older children while you're giving birth, The Cape Cod Baby Planner is your helping hand.
Simply stated, anyone who wants to feel well prepared for their baby, or does not have time or ability to prepare for themselves, may benefit from the services that The Cape Cod Baby Planner offers.
The International Academy of Baby Planner Professionals defines a baby planner as a maternity consultant that meets with expecting or new families to provide support, education, and resources in a non-biased fashion. Baby planners tailor their services to suit their client’s specific lifestyle needs and help them determine the types of services and products that are essential throughout their journey towards parenthood. A baby planner is committed to empowering their clients by showing them all of their many options during pre-conception, pregnancy and beyond. This includes the various options for birthing, co-sleeping, health, fitness, nutrition, going-green, safety, budgeting, product navigation, baby shower preparation, baby registries, and much more.
Additionally a baby planner can be seen as a matchmaker, an educator, and a coordinator. As a matchmaker, a baby planner presents their clients with the most suitable services and products based on their needs. As an educator, a baby planner provides information and resources to their clients so that they may make the best decisions for their family. As a coordinator, a baby planner may organize special events such as baby showers, baby moons, or retreats.
A baby planner does not diagnose, treat, examine or medically advise their clients. Unless a baby planner holds an additional license or certification in a specific area of practice, a baby planner does not prescribe or attempt to perform for a client additional services that require advanced training.
